Sagle Constructions welcomes new Executive General Manager

ADELAIDE, SA: Sagle Constructions (Sagle) has appointed highly respected South Australian building veteran Luke Crouch as its new Executive General Manager. 

Luke brings more than 20 years of commercial construction experience to Sagle, including the past 15 years as Senior Project Manager at national builder Hansen Yuncken, where he oversaw complex projects across the health, scientific research, education, defence and entertainment sectors. 

The SkyCity Casino expansion, Rundle Place/80 Grenfell Street, and the Flinders University Health and Medical Research Building are among the landmark projects that demonstrate Luke’s technical and commercial knowledge, strong interpersonal skills and collaborative approach to project outcomes. 

Sagle Managing Director Daniel Lees said Luke will add deep technical expertise, strong relationships and a collaborative approach that fit perfectly with the Sagle DNA. 

“Having someone of Luke’s calibre join our business is a strong endorsement of the team and culture we’ve built over the past 25 years and the outcomes we have delivered for our clients,” he said. 

“His experience and leadership across complex, high‑value projects, together with his commercial knowledge, will help push us further into new sectors while supporting the consistency and reliability our clients expect from our company. 

“Luke was recently spearheading early contractor involvement of the Skills and Training Academy Campus at Osborne and we’re particularly excited about leveraging his knowledge and experience to bring our expertise into the defence sector.” 

Luke will work with the leadership team in South Australia and Victoria to drive delivery of Sagle’s strategic plan and position Sagle by 2030 as a national leader recognised for delivering exceptional value through innovation and design excellence.  

Luke said the decision to join Sagle is an exciting next chapter in his career and is keen to support Sagle’s continued growth. 

“I’ve known the Sagle team for some time and what’s impressed me is while they’ve continued to evolve and innovate, that has not come at the expense of the relationships and collaborative approach that has underpinned their business philosophy,” he said.

For more than 25 years, Sagle has built a reputation as a trusted partner in delivering commercial and industrial projects across South Australia. In more recent years, significant business growth and an expanding pool of repeat national clients with interstate development opportunities also saw the company’s expansion into Victoria. 

From its beginnings in a small workshop in Adelaide’s western suburbs, Sagle today has over 40 staff and has completed significant projects for a growing pool of clients and national brands. 

Luke started his role on March 23.
