Design and construct of a two‑storey specialist dental surgery.
This Design and Construct project delivers a purpose‑built, two‑storey dental surgery incorporating six fully functional surgery rooms, a laboratory, OPG room, sterilisation suite, and multiple consulting rooms.
The superstructure comprises precast concrete and steel framing, externally clad with a combination of aluminium panelling, Mondoclad, and Cemental with exposed fixings, creating a robust and contemporary architectural finish.
Challenging site constraints and access requirements informed the building layout, with the main floor plate constructed at Level 1 to enable drive‑through access from Port Road below.
The design package was led and managed by the Sagle project team in close collaboration with the client, ensuring key internal design details were carefully delivered in client‑facing areas. Sagle’s team also managed negotiations with council to successfully address the requirements of the Category 2 planning assessment.
