Sagle completes G8 Education Early Learning Facility

Sagle has completed the construction of a G8 Education Early Learning Centre at Marion SA, it’s first project for property development company

Leyton Property.

The 108 place centre, which took 14 weeks to complete, opened in January 2018 under the name Casa Bambini.

Sagle was engaged by Leyton Property Managing Director Hamish Brown to build the purpose-built facility for G8 Education, a leading provider of quality care and education facilities across Australia and Singapore.

Sagle Constructions General Manger Daniel Lees said, “Childcare facilities are an integral part of the community and we are extremely grateful to be able to deliver this project for Hamish and the Leyton Property team.”

“The project timeframe was tight to ensure the facility could open in January and working closely with Hamish was key to ensure client outcomes were delivered on time.”

The project scope of work included demolition of the existing structure and the construction of a new state of the art centre, incorporating a large outdoor play space and landscaping.

Designed by Bell Architecture, the centre features four activity spaces for different age groups, staff offices and commercial cooking facilities.
The building is characterised by a feature structural steel canopy at the front of the building with an expressed joint hooped pine soffit, giving the building a more commercial look and feel.

Sagle worked closely with the client to ensure the facility was tailored to suit a specific set of needs, and to ensure compliance with relevant authorities and education codes.
